The original building was constructed shortly after WWII and used as a working dairy until the late seventies, when it fell into disrepair. After purchasing the farm in late 2000 and planting an olive grove, we turned our attention to the Old Dairy. What we didn't appreciate was just how much work was involved.

Located in the picturesque Upper Hunter wine country and surrounded by some of the best horse studs in Australia, it was ideally suited for Bed & Breakfast or Self Contained accommodation

We wanted to create a luxurious and cosy retreat while retaining the rustic appeal of the original dairy shed.
